A tisket, a tasket, a fabric Easter basket. And speaking of Easter baskets, i have a few simple fabric basket ideas that are easy to make and don’t take a ton of time. The tiny town tote is more than a toy for children. When i first designed this pattern i thought, while being fun for kids, it would also work for all sorts of holiday-themed decor. I recently found this adorable bunny-themed fabric at fabric supply on etsy and knew it would make an adorable Easter tiny town tote.

Because I didn’t add any appliqué embellishments to this tote, it went together quickly and is perfect for creating a fun Easter vignette. I added a few simple decor items that i picked up at hobby lobby to make it more festive. I also made a couple of Easter-themed baskets that will be {early} Easter gifts for family members. For one of the baskets I used the same fabric as the tiny town tote. It’s got more of a spring look rather than being full-on Easter. I also think it could easily fit into a little girl’s room as a storage basket once Easter has passed.
